Lords of Madness release!
Here is Lords of Madness, ready for your D&D Miniatures Skirmish needs. The first and only set of this year has a lot of goodies, ready for you to discover. While designing and developing, we’ve encountered some challenges.. you may know Murphy’s Law? But that’s a story for another time.Sealed
We’ve not had a set come along for sealed play in some time, so sealed with this set has been designed to be a very flexible experience. We’ve designed it so that you can do your sealed tournament in several ways:
- Regular Epic 400 point assault from 2 sealed boosters. You already know this format from earlier huge sets, such as Against the Giants and Legendary Evils.
- The classic 200 point assault, from two or three sealed boosters. In this case, you’ll frequently find that you can play huges that fit in the sub-150 point, 75% threshold.
- Dual format sealed. This is the format that will also be used in the 2010 sealed championships. You open up three boosters, and build two warbands from those boosters. One warband is 500 points, the other a regular 200 points warband. During the tournament, you alternate between those two warbands. This means you use the 200 points warband in round 1, 500 points warband in round 2, and so forth.
See you soon!
We hope to see you back in a few days, when we share the story of design and development of D&D Miniatures Lords of Madness. And of course, we hope to see you at the Limited Championships 2010, at Neoncon, november 4-6 in Las Vegas. For now, have fun with Lords of Madness!
