Ok, this is regarding the drow but it could be regarding any other race with whichever racial treats.
I always wondered why is it that DDM drow can't cast racial spells like faery fire or darkness. Its a given that every drow can do this, right? So, why can't they on DDM?
Some racial abilities have been left off on most creatures to maintain game balance and keep things fresh (giving all the Drow the same tricks would have diminished the number of other tricks the designers were able to give them).
Ok, I can understand the balancing of the game.
And just for argument's sake (I don't want to sound pushy at all), there's an undead trait, right? Where being undead gives certain abilities to the creature. Couldn't the same be given to other races?
Ah, I forgot, you are talking OE, of course. No such things as racial traits in the RE.
Oh. I know nothing about RE, damn. I need to check the RE manual and make some sense out of it.
