Trying to get back into minis (haven't played in a couple of years) and wanted to try and play online. It's been about 6 years since I have successfully played on vassal, with a couple of times trying to to play but could never get the mod to work. I have downloaded the latest version of java and vassal. Where do I go from here? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I appreciate your help, but am at a loss. It looks like I need to run the 2.0 extension if I want more maps, but have no idea how to make a vmdx file work. Any ideas? Thanks.
Ok, just a couple of quick clarifications, as I don't understand your question. You want to play 1.0 or 2.0? And what additional maps are you looking to add? I have Downloaded Vassal, installed the newest 2.0 mod and everything I need is there.
I'm trying to play DDM2. All the figures are up to date, but the only maps available are the 5 half maps.
And you did not install it under program files, right? 'Cause there is some install problem going on. I have installed Vassal on 6 different computers and never had a single problem. It would seem some (hopefully very few) people do have problems that sound mighty random.
