*To the regulars*
Sorry but I couldn't resist.
*To volker421*
So if I understand your rabid grammer, and very poor spelling, you are saying that you took the warband that beat players from all over the world and couldn't win with it when you played your wife. Is that correct? Another question I have is, you really don't see where the failure here is, do you? A tertiary question might be (if you've gotten this far in the lesson that is) if you could grow up and act civil, would you set a date to actually play one of the people that won the VWC? I'm sure that any one of us would love a game with an actual adult.
*And lastly to the regulars again*
Yes I know he's not worth the effort but I was bored and in a whimsical mood and I really couldn't resist.
Ok....just to make sure I understand whatever language you are speaking I'm going to try to translate it into English. I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm mistaken. The first bit has to do with your wife wanting to have sex with me in Europe? Is that correct? The next part is a bit confusing but I'll have a go at it. Something about you giving yourself a short hand while having sex with a dozen rotten eggs? Is that close? And then hordes of USA, chant about winning a debt savings? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that three constitute a horde. Then a bit about a travelling cat that likes soccer? And lastly you reaching for a choach. I'm sorry, I don't know what a choach is.
Now I've reread my translation a few times and I just can't figure out how any of this, answers any of my questions I've posted previously. Why don't you read what I've posted earlier and have another go at it? I'm certain you'll get it right....eventually.
P.S. Thanks BTW for replying back to my response so soon. Although I'd think it was a pity that you have nothing better to do than scan a message board constantly. And one that seems to aggravate you to some degree to boot. I appreciate the amount of effort on your part.
Well must be off. Thanks for a very entertaining evenning.
It was my warband and it's not the easiest to play, but then I have played DnD minis since it first was released and won a title, or two, in my time. Positioning, methodical, timing and opportunism is the key to playing it.
I suspect you're annoyed because noone is playing in Vassal though and that's the sad truth of the state of the game. I loved this game, and, maybe, it will kick off again, but at the moment it is very quiet with fewer and fewer players.
It is so sad when cousins marry.
Might that be giving "him" the benift of a doubt? I was thinking more along the lines of brother and sister....for at least 5 or 6 generations.
Why is this guy so pissed? And who typed in that last response in for him??

Phew!! Well at least I don't have to worry about that last post from our friend. I'm relatively certain that he couldn't find Canada on a map of N. America.
@Volker.
Here is how you win a title:
Sign up for a major event when the call goes out.
Then play in it.
VWC does this once a year. The guild sponsors a major event in Indianapolis at GenCon, then one at NeonCon in Las Vegas, where I am personally present. There are also championship events in Europe and in South America. The Brazilians are very good players.
It's certainly an achievement that you regularly beat your wife.
I'm sure that takes some skill. But there are levels of skill.
The current world Champion in constructed is Sirokh (from New York, in the US), and in Sealed it is Kezghan (Vancouver, Canada).
Going into a tournament, you need to understand the metagame. What people anticipate will show up, and how to play against it. Sometimes a very good player will play a suboptimal band because of anticipated matchups. Players will take advantage of particular rules sets, such as the limited number of turns in VWC. Odds are, if you can't see why a band is good in a given situation, you may be missing something.
I'm not going to reply to any more of your comments; I post this really as a self-reflection on the current game.
I will say that until you actually show up for a tournament and play in person, nobody is going to take you seriously, least of all me. Given all the crowing you've just done, and the fact that I suspect you would not win a single game against actual skilled oponents, I don't think you have the yarbles to show up.
(or, for that matter, to understand where that reference was gleaned from.)
To the others: I've been quiet lately, but busy behind the scenes. I think you will all be pleased. Sure, we need to grow our community, but I insist on only 'quality' folks participating in it. No need to include any trolls, right?
Not the appropriate forum, but what the hell, I'll leak something. Next minis cards to be released will be rules and stats for new sculpts from the board games.
Before the equinox.
There will be surprises.

Hey man, sorry for delay.
The new beholder maps are sitting in boxes at Joel's house. I thought he would send by now (South Dakota and San Diego = far apart).
At my place I think I have a copy of Tarrasque and a couple copies of Dwarven Halls. I may have the ice one, too.
Shall I just send those to you?

I'd be super interested in getting a scan of those. Does not need to be of very high quality, just for Vassal use. I will try and dig up Hougar from the naphthalene and get him to edit Vassal (maybe get some of the new creatures in too), or lacking that, or another skilled volunteer, I'll try to add them myself (crossing fingers that a skilled volunteer steps up at this point).
No sweet. I can wait some more. Just checkin. I know you've been crazy busy as of late. Thanks for the reply!!

WOW! Super nice.
If i have understand it right.
We´ll have some new stats to:
Dwarf Cleric, Dragonborn fighter, and elf ranger from Ravenloft Boardgame.
The half-orc rogue from Wrath of Ashardalon and to Cattibrie, Regis and Jarlaxle from Legends of Drizzt.
Is this what you mean Tried?
At a minimum, yes.
I was hoping to release a set with 12-15 miniatues in it.
