In a recent game my (epic) Warforged Juggernaut got superinfested by Kezghan's (demonic) rot grub swarm.
According to new beta rules the start-of-turn save precedes control determination and ongoing damage (Determined ability: non-epic Juggy & Valiant Cavalry)
We agreed that epic Juggernaut's Perfect Focus is not quite a start-of-turn save, so we applied the ongoing damage (once each time it started turn with ongoing) before Juggy got rid of it with Perfect Focus (which I figure is a pre-existing start-of-turn effect) EDIT: In its most recent Feymire Set incarnation this is an automatic triggered power - previously it was activated power.
But what about dominated condition?
When control is determined, it goes to the opponent, but before any actions can be taken the condition (that allowed control) ends - and with that the control goes back to Juggernauts owner ? ... at least this is the way we played.
The rules language is not equipped to handle this unambiguously, so a ruling is called for.
If control is considered to remain with the opponent, is it then still bound by the limitations on which/how many actions it can take on a turn? Rather doubful given that it's no longer dominated when take actions phase starts.
What about activated/limited use powers?
Same kind of questions arise if epic Warforged Juggernaut is granted an extra turn by (allied or enemy) Brain in a Jar. It's not dominated in take actions phase, so is it limited in what it can do on that turn?

Perfect Focus = Determined, but save is automatic.

OK, is it also considered to trigger events that have
"successful save" condition (epic Raistlin, can't remember if there are others)
EDIT:
As Perfect Focus also ends conditions that have other durations than (save ends), I suppose the answer would be "no"...
correct.
